Just a coincidence.

Can anyone tell me how this works?
We have a group of posters who are constantly taking the piss out of each other.
If they're not being personal about the other board member, they're constantly jumping in to rubbish any thread that one of them starts. I can imagine that it can get annoying for all of people involved.

Here's my question, if you're going to threaten legal action and the closure of the message board, why indulge in all of this in the first place?
Thanks for throwing this one back up. I'd forgotten what a 'decentish' person I am. (Yeah, me, me, me!!)

You know, listening to snide remarks, you'd think I was a total cunt.

Daz, although on one level I sympathise with NWF, just please listen to yourself.

1. You are here. Why? Is it because you like something about this forum?
2. Look at what this forum is and has always been. Now go and look what you've posted about the formal rules:

"You agree to not use the Service to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend, contains adult or objectionable content, contains personal information of others, risks copyright infringement, encourages unlawful activity, or otherwise."

3. How can we have a forum like this and AND follow those rules? The answer is, we can't. Just on the 'likely to offend' we are all fucked. And you've posted your share of 'offensive' stuff too, haven't you?

So...

4. Why don't we all admit it? They may be the written rules, but on the whole, no one has ever really tried to follow all of them. It's been an 'unspoken' and 'unwritten' agreement by just about anyone who's participated.

If people want to say that things have gone too far, then fine.

But citing those rules now, after breaking them from day one, doesn't work for me.
And again.
NWF. I have no idea how you got swayed by such a weak-minded group of people. (Other than the fact that that 'picture episode' really pissed you off.) But in my book, you were always a pretty sound person.

Like I said some days ago, it's time to move on.
