Jury Service....

Done one a few years ago, was put straight on a case which lasted 3 days and after not being able to reach a decision we were told we didn't have to come back. Shame really cos it was a good experience.

Never been called up yet my work colleague has three times. He's never actually say in a full trial though as he's either been rejected by the defence or the case has been thrown out at the last minute, usually due to Police Cock up.

I've been waiting for the letter since I was 18, but it still hasn't arrived. For whatever reason, they don't want me. The only positive is that they recently moved the upper age limit from 70 to 75, which expands my window of opportunity a bit 🤞

Just a bit of free legal advice, Lowestoft.
It is a criminal offence to discuss any case where you have been on the jury with anyone outside the jury room.

I did it about 20yrs ago and loved the experience. I guess it depends what kind of case you get. I had two, a fraud and a wounding.

If they're scruffy Herberts or if they're accused of gluing themselves to anything they're guilty and should be tied to one of them fucking great windmills for a month
To the blades or to the pillar (or whatever the bit's called that they are mounted on)?

Perhaps they are already doing that brushing which would explain my leccy going up ÂŁ1.25 per day.
PS What's a scruffy herbert? Not a phrase I've heard since the forties.
