Jonny Evans

Christ, how badly did we miss him. We can't play 3 at the back without him. Didn't look like an injury that will see him playing on Tuesday night.

If not, we really need to go back to 4-1-4-1.

We'll get well beaten Tuesday. No one wants to miss the Cup Final and they'll play like schoolgirls (can I still say that?)

Quite surprised Rodgers came out with it so bluntly himself last night “ he’s the brains in that back 3”
Soyuncu & fofana commit themselves far far too often & you can x that by 10 without evans talking to them.
Yes I was surprised too, but he wasn't wrong. Don't think it matters what level of football it is, you can be a good centre half, but a shit organiser. That's what we've got with Fofana and Soyuncu, great talent, but need organising.

But it was'nt about governance by a senior player it was basic football, flicking a ball between your legs when last man, is it not beyond a player's (Socunyu) wit to huff it. That mistake set the ball rolling and left us chasing

Centre halves that think they can play football are an accident waiting to happen. The clue is in the name - defender

You plumb new depths of observation and / or recall.
Huth wasn't great unless he was nurse-maiding Wes?
Of course he wasn't.
Fucking hell.
He actually admitted that himself. He said it helped his game having Wes beside him.

It doesn't matter where you play, there are areas you don't play football in...
PS The answer is to play Wilf there and bring Mendy in...

You must surely recall that he has a well-developed and subtle sense of humour. And who wouldn't enjoy being made to look even better than he was by means of the nearest comparison! :ROFLMAO:
But seriously, use your memory; he had a long enough career.

Disagree. Putting Ndidi there is effectively putting a rookie centre half alongside 2 young lads who had a mare on Friday.

I'd rather Fuchs was there in the middle with Thomas on the left.

Let Ndidi do what he does best.
