Johnson your time is surely up

How many of his cabinet ministers have quit over the past couple of years for one reason or another? It’s obscene. Yet Teflon Johnson remains untouched.

He doesn't have anything on Teflon Keef...the true master.

Ignoring the utter shit show he made in all of these appointments...

LEK Consulting - Resigned after a week
The Times - Sacked
Telegraph - OK
Clwyd South Constituency - Lost
The Spectator - Sacked
GQ Magazine - OK
Henley Constituency - Resigned
Shadow Arts Minister - Sacked
Rector University of Edinburgh - Lost
London Mayor - Didn't stand for third term
Uxbridge and South Ruislip - Still in post
2016 Conservative Leadership Campaign - Withdrew
Foreign Secretary - Resigned
Tory Party Leader - Won
Prime Minister - Still in post

His real success was his popularity as London Mayor, but on closer inspection it was still a shit show.

Back to the Telegraph column soon maybe?

If he was/is the best available what does it say about the rest?

But when I look at the opposition parties I really can't identify anyone that I'd want to represent the UK on the world stage

BJ is clearly not up to the job.
You would hope out of the hundreds of MPs, there might be someone who will at least be serious about the job and willing to put in some hard work. That is all we need really. Rather than a spoilt little man-boy...

That's because the Tory Party & most of the media have destroyed British politics.

"Put up with the current shyte" is the baseline, because they've made so many people believe that the alternative is either incompetent, evil or unpatriotic.

Well Johnson & his cronies tick all 3 of those boxes - more fool anyone saying "I don't trust any of them, so carry on Johnson".

I'm not sure it's fair to blame Boris for the other party's incompetence, he doesn't choose their MPs or put them in a position of authority. Quite frankly when the liberals wheel out their best man to ramble on about almost any subject I'm left wondering if he'll be able to find his own way home. The Labour Party do have some decent and competent people but they seem to be stifled by the shouty head nodding loons that make the most noise. I don't know if Starmer is the best man for the job or not but he does seem fixated and getting rid of Boris which I find irritating when I want to hear some proper policy ideas

Starmer's role is the question and scrutinise the government and getting rid of BJ, is in the national interest.
It is only really when there is a General Election, that the Opposition has to stand on their own policies.
Starmer has pointed the way for BJ enough times though, on the cost of living, taxation on oil companies etc.

He sure as hell is to blame for his own...but even then far too many lap up his deflections & excuses.

Incompetent in the past, incompetent now, incompetent forever.

But it's just a wish list with nothing to support what he says, the cost of living is a worldwide issue, he never puts numbers on the taxation issue or his solution to the national debt and a windfall tax on the oil companies seems a good idea but how much? We all want Boris to go but we all need to carry on living afterwards
