I’ve been to Arsenal tonight.

Watched most of the game, I thought the gooners farted around too much with the ball.
It was chaotic in the last 5-10 minutes but in general I thought the Geordies restricted them pretty well.

Agreed Newcastle did defend well even at the end of the game. They seemed to want it more than Arsenal did.

They missed Saka last night. It always surprises me how fragile these top teams are when they lose one or two of their best players even with their strong squads.

Trouble with Arsenal is if plan A's not working plan B is their dubious attacking strategies if that is no good they are lost

I like the way the Geordies defended, them and Liverpool just throw bodies in the way. Their goalkeeper rarely had to make a save due to shots being stopped. Our lot just don't cover or get into position to do the same. They just stand and watch to admire. We need fullbacks or a backline who want to defend properly and who enjoy it, not thinking they are some kind of superstar trying to walk it out from the back then losing the ball.

I can’t remember the last time I went to a game that didn’t involve Leicester.
No disrespect, but why would you pay good money to watch two teams you have no interest in ?

Remember the Huth-Morgan mantra; "This is our house and you are not coming in". It was like the penalty area was full of our defence.
What I see now is our defenders caught too far up the pitch and running a losing race to get back between the ball and the goal.

I love the fact that twat Arteta blamed the ball which is different to the one used in the PL. I used be ok with the Arse back in the day under Wenger. That disappeared in 2015/6 but under Arteta they’ve turned into a bunch of spoiled brats. I’ve never understood how he’s allowed out of his technical box so much. Often stands on the touchline. Did anyone see the Arsenal trainer who ran 20 yds down the touchline with the 4th official chasing him. Hilarious.

Think that was the set piece coach trying to get them organised! I did like the way capt black was complaining about the time I wasting holding up his watch leicester as if they don't do it !!!!!!!

Yes I was asked to host our corporate hospitality box for the evening. It’s actually a great way to watch a game that you don’t really give a toss about.
