Yes but there is a difference. Bellingham plays in the No 10 role. Central and just behind the most forward players. You don't see as many No 8s these days. I think it means support striker - Roger Hunt was a classic No 8 - but most teams play just one central striker now.

It’s not inconsequential
It’s people creating a brand for themselves and their chums, where as Kendal says they’re trying to create mystery and so called expertise out of what is really a very simple game.
Then they sell their wares ( their expertise and insight which their lessers don’t have) at vastly inflated prices.
Talking in gobbledygook is all part of it
