Is The Club Going Down The Toilet?

Both on and off the pitch.

Off the pitch:
All the King Power businesses are either in trouble or been scrapped.
Poor morale at board level.
Can't recruit a recruitment director.
Can't recruit a defensive coach.
Shambles on Saturday getting in.
Ticketing a shambles and getting worse next season.
All the wrong decisions being made like Wicksteed and the new stand.

On the pitch:
The manager is losing the plot and the dressing room and starting to look foolish.
Recruitment is non-existent.
Widespread loss of form.
Top stars trying to engineer an exit.

We've seen this before post MON when John Elsom was so out of his depth.
We saw this in the Holloway era when Mandaric was asset stripping the club.
This looks like Peter Taylor and Holloway all over again.
And there's nothing any of us can do about it - apart from watch the car crash in slow motion.

It boils down to the simple managerial inability to get the team over the line when it mattered
- champions league fail at the last hurdle
- champions leagues fail at the last hurdle
- europa final fail at the last hurdle

Any one of those, reversed, and it sets the club on a new course, or rather the course that’s been laid in place by the investments of the owners.

Both on and off the pitch.

Off the pitch:
All the King Power businesses are either in trouble or been scrapped - are you sure? Which ones?
Poor morale at board level - how do you know that?
Can't recruit a recruitment director - he's on gardening leave
Can't recruit a defensive coach - is this true?
Shambles on Saturday getting in - leave the pub earlier
Ticketing a shambles and getting worse next season - is it?
All the wrong decisions being made like Wicksteed and the new stand - Wicksteed? Is the club responsible for cancelled council meetings?

On the pitch:
The manager is losing the plot and the dressing room and starting to look foolish - is he? has he?
Recruitment is non-existent - currently true
Widespread loss of form - what does this even mean?
Top stars trying to engineer an exit - how do you know that?

We've seen this before post MON when John Elsom was so out of his depth - are you equating Top to John Elsom?
We saw this in the Holloway era when Mandaric was asset stripping the club - is Top asset-stripping the club?
This looks like Peter Taylor and Holloway all over again - are you sure?
And there's nothing any of us can do about it - apart from watch the car crash in slow motion - "car crash" must mean successive high-placings, a new training ground, a new stadium development on the way, a squad worth in excess of £500m, recent trophies in the bag etc.

what was occuring saturday?

Tinhatter - there were queues miles long at every turnstile. Those with new season ticket cards weren't told that you no longer insert the card into the slot at the gate. You have to tap on the machine like using your debit card at a restaurant or in a shop.
No one was told this. And then those with digital tickets on their phones had problems using them. Loads had to go to the ticket office to sort it out.
Complete shambles. Thousands didn't get in until long after the Kick Off.

Sorry I thought the game was on Sunday

Bloody turnstiles weren't even open Saturday. Outrageous. This club is finished.

I got in the queue at 1.40
Got in the ground at 1.45
As for the slot at the gate, took a couple of seconds to work it out
No problem

Another smartarse maybe bur we arrived an hour before kickoff, no queues (except for the free beer) and a helpful lady by the turnstile showing correct way to use the card. No complaints here.

Certainly buzz. Always happy to assist. I'm not sure it's an improvement though. Something of a confused message if you ask me.

We would still be struggling with FFP perhaps even more if we did get in the champions League. You can't just point it at the manager. How about person responsible for giving out ridiculous wages.

Many thanks kpbw. At least it is now better punctuated incoherent nonsense.

I’m no pedant Uttox but surely a question mark there would have made even less sense to those trying to decipher Cowboy’s post?

You missed a full stop at the end of your message btw.
