If they'd told me ...

... that this was the price of winning the premiership, the FA cup, and another Charity Shield, I'd have snatched their arm off.
Relegation is eff all to the mighty Leicester City. Done it loads of times; always get up off the canvas and come again.

Had a chat with my oldest mates last summer when I visited from Cheshire about this.
Once we’d won the FA Cup the collective opinion was if you could retire from supporting your team, that was the time to do it. All three domestic trophies won in our time supporting the club from the mid eighties onwards, I’d quite happily just close the book and view it with some wonderful nostalgia from here on in.

Definitely. For some reason this club can never rebuild while staying in the top flight, so this always happens, but wouldn't swap for being a supporter of Palace even today. Or Spurs. What did they win? Another season of failing to win anything.

I had exactly this conversation with my missus after the premier league win. I was ready to Jack it at that point thinking it couldn’t get any better in our lifetime. Glad I didn’t, because it did!
Whatever happens, it’s a new phase, and once the disappointment has worn off, there are new challenges to be enjoyed.

Its basically the same squad that got us to 8th last season, we need to make our minds up quick who is gonna come in and motivate us till end of the season cause its not Sadler or Stowell.
Top is reminding me of the Captain of the Titanic.

I want to know who it was that sold his soul to the Devil for the Premier League title, FA Cup, Community Shield and those trips in Europe, and has now tried to renege on the deal ... we need to find him quick.
