I Was Stuck For Over An Hour

Sohofox

Roofer
Waiting to get on a train from Falmer to Lewes.
Then another 40 minutes waiting at Lewes for a train to Victoria.
All in all nearly 5 hours to get home to SE London from the Amex Stadium.
I would have had a couple of beers in the stadium bar after the game to wait for it to all clear but they only took payment by card and I only had cash.
Thank God it only takes minutes to get out of the KP and back into the centre of town.

I thought this was gonna be one of them male, bragging sex messages. Lol!

Don’t see the big fuss over Brighton not even very nice place of coast, pubs nothing special either

We stayed for an hour Soho - they had run out of beer and only had Fosters left. Then still got stuck in a queue short of the platform - Southern were using 4 carriage trains and they cancelled one of those bastards....foookin shambolic. You would think by now the football club and the train company might have sorted something out...

Took us longer to get 5 miles from the ground to the pub than it took to get back to London.

Coooooonts

Lovely to see a few Roofers again though - so a happy enough day.

You didn't have to spend 2 hours of your life stuck on the worlds biggest car park. The M25.

Not like you to moan about lager on the south coast.

Was it free and a gesture like last time?

It was not free and the only gesture I recall from all them years ago involved two of your fingers matey.

You are going to have to get over this one at some point old boy - it was a decade ago!

And I still say that cow lager was shite.

We are stuck in the same queue. Won't be going back there again unless its a very big game. Can't imagine being a home supporter having to go through that every other week

Park at the White Horse, Rottingdean sea front and jump on the supporters bus that parks outside, £5 return...

Short wait for a train straight back to Brighton. Then on the 16.48 to Luton, drive home from there.

parked in the Uni, next to the ground and got into Brighton town centred parked uo, 20 minutes after the final whistle. Just got home and we had to sit in "the worlds largest carpark" today, took nearly 5 hours to get um.
