I blame Thatcher and the unions for this woke lot.

After she smashed the unions the left got their revenge with the poll tax revolts which were not endorsed by the Labour Party or the unions. Blair continued her legacy while the unions rather than fight for the basic rights of the working class and demanding a repeal of the anti trade union laws decided it was easier to call for the rights of John to call himself Joanna and attend the school prom in a pink off the shoulder two piece with matching earrings. They shit their none binary knickers at the thought of a real fight.
Old socialists handed them the baton and they put tinsel on the fucker and turned it into a fairy wand.

I'm not sure the Unions caused the gender politics of today.

But I do blame Thatcher. She was a bloke in a dress.

The unions took the easy route. They should have challenge Blair over anti union legislation. Iā€™m pretty sure he consolidated it too.

Blair was a red Tory, so no surprises there.

All workers can get access to Union rights. The Lidl staff in Bridgend beat their employer in court over Union recognition. Lidl until then, would not accept any Unions.

Thatcher was a Randist and we are currently is another wave of politicians concerned more about self than community.
Some of the younger members of Generation X, the Millennials and Generation Z have grown up with the same ethos. Be an individual. Focus on self. Save mass participation for enjoyment, rather than advancement.

If those generations could get their arses in gear and fight back, there could still be hope.
But I suspect they are condemned to and accepting of subservience, lack of job security, zero political engagement and cross-dressing.

Meanwhile, the Randists are stealing their futures.

Yep, sad innit. But hindsight is a wonderful thing. Now we say Blair was a red Tory but at the time he gave some folk hope of a better future. (I never voted for him as by that time I was already expelled from the Labour Party šŸ™ˆ ) I remember chatting with a guy a couple of years ago. He was saying he remembers the news reels of Blair walking into number 10 with his guitar and thinking this is the future. (Things can only get better styley) how disappointed he was!

Thatcher effectively destroyed 'traditional' Labour. Socialist economic policy became untenable and 'New' labour needed an alternative to keep the voters on side and allow Blair to work on his long term aim of the destruction of our democracy and, in time our way of life. That alternative was intersectionality, identity politics if you prefer.

The entire British 'Establishment' was onboard with this, they saw its 'Globalist' agenda as a good thing, for them anyway. So much so that the Conservative party moved to the left to accommodate it and more. Having won the election Cameron implemented this policy with some considerable gusto.

His only real error was allowing the referendum, leaving the EU could wreck the agenda, so despite the result, could not be allowed to be successful.

Not sure whether it was all part of the globalists plan, but I think they look for and seize opportunities when they arise.

You may be right but I think it is the 'Strategy of the indirect approach'.

The aim is total control, everything that they do is towards that aim. Every avenue is explored, economic, social, political even health and if any weakness is found it is pushed and pushed. If resistance is encountered, the effort and the emphasis is shifted elsewhere, from climate change to racism, racism to health, then a bit of party politics, with energy issues to come and maybe even armed conflict involving major western powers.

That's an interesting idea. They definitely lost their way. I think a lot of them were not happy that working class people wanted better lives, and for that they needed more money, not empty promises of a socialist paradise given to them by fat blokes in ill-fitting suits with gravy stains.
