Hey borebage.

Not on facebook Mac but Micky did find that photo for me a while ago. Taken on a coach park near Old Trafford when we were relegated in 1969. J.Robinson & Sons was started by my Grandfather James and his brother Bill. My Dad took it on when he came back from doing his National Service in the Army. In the REME he mostly played football for his Regiment in Libya. When he was called up he was a young player on Leicester City’s books but they never took him back when he got back home. The J.Robinson & Sons company ended when my Dad died. The present Robinsons Coaches is owned by my cousin Michael although his son is the managing director nowadays.
Micky made me a replica model coach in those original colours before he passed away. He had worked on some of my Dad’s coaches when he was a skilled sign writer at Bostock & Barsby’s in their paint shop at Barwell.

……Greg Chapman unearthed that photo originally and passed it on to Micky.
Then Micky eventually to me.
