Health Tourism for pets

The prices vets charge are fekin scandalous. I believe most have been bought out by fund manager types, as they know they have you by the balls and there is nothing to stop them charging what they want. Needs sorting.
 
I paid out nearly £9k on an ACL op on a dog so £3.5k sounds a bargain. The vet hospital we went to was smarter than any hospital I've ever been in and the standard of care incredible. The op was a success, fortunately!

I always insure my Cockers with Petplan. They have paid out thousands over the years.

My dog had a growth on his front lip, vet removed it for about £120 and took out a couple of teeth at the same time for which there was no extra charge.
I’m sticking with my vet.
I try and buy any meds online.
 
We have our 2 on a Petplan with the Vets and insurance with Tesco. All of our flea and worm taken care of, 2 free visits per year to the Vets and the yearly boosters included too. We have £15k each on the dogs for the insurance and the total for all of it is about £80 per month.

We do the same with Park at Whetstone.
