He came from Italee

I just love the bloke, never thought I would see Ranieri here even though Lineker said uninspired choice of manager, I thought what?........ ❤️Times.

very sad....just wanted him to sit back, put his feet up and enjoy a majestic retirement having been crowned the most likeable Premier League title winning manager in the history of mankind. Spending his days nurturing the new vines in the sunshine and inviting his friend Andrea round for a ristretto and cantuccini.
....but now he'll suffer the indignity of being sacked by the Watford shit show.

When he took over at Sampdoria in October 2019, they were bottom of Serie A after six defeats in seven matches.

Italian football expert James Horncastle told BBC Radio 5 Live: "He kept them up with games to spare, he then built on that in the second season and took a Sampdoria side who had no money and had sold all their players into the top half. He is still a very capable manager.

"You have to respect he is two weeks shy of his 70th birthday. He could happily retire, live off the greatest title win the league has ever seen and go on speaking tours. But he just wants to coach, he is totally addicted to it.

"A lot of people will point to Fulham and how that didn't end well. But he has gone into jobs like this before and either matched expectations or over performed."
I wish him the best of luck and more!!

My lad was distraught when he was appointed...I reminded him that of all the connected managers he was the only one who said he wanted to manage us...I respect that....He took a decent squad, added to it and played players where they needed to be played. He was a gentleman in the press room and projected the club in totally the right way as opposed to embarrassing it. He deliver the league, and when I see footage of it still I have to wipe the tears away. I have a big dose of man love for him....can't wait for his return..

I don't like to see the press hammer him and say Watford should never have signed him. I know a lot of people on here have a softspot for Pearson but for me the little Pizza fella is still a Leicester City icon and does not deserve the rubbishing.

He only became Watford coach, was it wed? Hasn't had a chance to put his way of playing to the players and Liverpool first match was alway daunting, but I will always stick up for the Don anyway. ❤️
