Says how he studies videos on our Jamie on how to play off the last defender, says he is the worlds best.

Long after most of us have departed this world Jamie Vardy will still be looked at as a complete one off. I honestly don’t believe we’ll see the same or even similar for many many years to come if ever. To come from non league to the PL and winning then the golden boot. No chance. Oh and let’s not even mention he won the PL and FA Cup with a non BCC.
What makes him stand out is that he’s evolved in an amazing way. I hope with careful managing we’ll continue to see him at the KP for another 3-4 years.

Also remarkable that at the beginning of his Leicester career, he struggled with the step up, and I am sure he said that he was ready to quit at one stage.
NFP should take credit for sticking with him.

Unfortunately, this insightful article from 2016 can now only be accessed after registration but when I last read it it wasn't so much NFP but Khun Vichai (or Top?) that made him turn around things. I'm sure NFP played his part, too, though!

Jamie Vardy used to 'turn up drunk', claims Leicester vice-chairman

I think it’s fair to say the player before him who was plucked out of non league and had a really successful career was Ian Wright. Their journeys were vastly different so here’s a question.

From a non biased point of view, who was / is the better player, Wrighty or Vardy?

Similar players , both exciting to watch. I would not swop Jamie for any other striker, proved his loyalty too. Proper Legend.

I think I read somewhere he talked Vardy out of quitting.
