Ground Extension

Loads stayed afterwards.
He played Ward because he’d promised to and said you had to keep your promises. Who said Braybrooke would be starting? We clearly wanted to get 8th so why would he risk that by playing a kid from the start?
Rodgers to Braybrooke, he didn't keep to his word. If you don't believe me it doesn't matter to me. Ward was told he was getting 2 games, he got one.

Possibly Kasper future as changed and he gave him his last game, who knows.

bnet - utter fake news merchant.

Two bits of 'inside information' and both absolute nonsense. As usual.
OK here we go again. First post from a "new" poster. Basically another shit head who had to change his name because to back up his bull shit and aggression from the last name.

I don't give 2 fucks if you don't believe me, but believing me is not your aim, its to try and get your own back from being shown up previously.
Blocked you as you are irrelevant.

"inside information". who said that ? l just passed on what I've been told by people who have no reason to make stuff up. I'm thinking that you are another of Hackneys log ins. Always starts when he does doesn't it !!!

Will be interesting to hear what he says as whenever you do a search on a development one of the first things you’d check for would be a listed building. Planners would also have knocked it straight back due to the the listed building, how long is it since we applied? Over a year?
fuck off please.

Does anyone else bar the Groovy Gang think l make stuff up ?

If thats how it is then l won't bother in future.

We all know Hackneys a proper lying wanker but, if what l repeat is distressing for others I'll leave it alone.

Didn’t say you’d made anything up, it was clear that it was plain wrong so you may want to question the source before having another go at me.
I wasn’t ‘distressed’.

Not sure if its been mentioned before, but heres the problem.

The electricity building is a listed building and can't be touched. This building was originally built as a railway turntable, so as that history. They can build around it or over it and they are looking at it as an indoor event venue now as its very big. They don't have planning permission yet so they have to sort this out.

Tell you about Rodgers later !
Can’t see how that had had been a railway turntable mate. Micky Hoss ?

nor me Abs, as l said. The fella who told me about as no reason to make it up, why would anyone ? and l have no reason to doubt him, l could show something that gives you a clue to why and how he knew but that would mean saying who it is, why would l do that ?

That’s the Leicester to Burton line mate there was never a spur going down to that level.

heres an old photo of the site, you can see what appears to be a rail track coming off the Burton line into the power station close to that shed. There other photos showing small steam engines working on the site, so this might explain the turntable. How else would you turn a train around in a limited area.

I'm sick to death of this Nazi cunt wanting to have a go at me when he's had a drink. I don't have to prove anything, and l don't tell lies, where's the benefit of me making a story up about such a matter, none, its just this shit bags issues that he can't deal with but gets pissed and acts like a bitchy women.

No way would that be an old railway thing, Great Central other side of river, Midland up on the embankment
its not the GCR, its Midland Railways - off the Leicester to Burton line. There was a lot of freight lines into power stations and quarry's etc. Have a look at the photos there train lines and trains, all power stations were served by steam trains !

That looks like a Plackett loco, very common at power stations in the fifties. The were basically a push and pull shunter, wouldn't require any sort of turntable, it there was one it would have been quite small

why would he tell me that there was a turntable in there if there wasn't. I don't understand all the, wanting to call me a bull shitter with no evidence or reason.

l was brought up around this area, we used to go scrumping up Freemans Common and play around the demoed houses where St Andrews estate is.
I never went into the power station as a kid but did along the canal at the back of it.
There was a coal wharf on the canal that served the power station, and it make sense that railways served it when canals where taken over by railways ! l know where the railway lines ran and that there was alsol a station on the cattle market.

Also there was only one way out of Leicester without going over or under a bridge, and that was before the Saffron road bridge was built, there was a level crossing where the car garage is, I've seen it many times. l even looked at buying the signal box site on the place where the old crossing was about 15 years ago, so l hope you believe l know the area as well as anyone on here possible.

But l make shit up according to the biggest liar on here !

Hackney, is this enough for you or are you going to disappear again, like you do every time l ask you about your lies about Russia Gate ?

You won't respond to either because you're a cunt. A lying snide bitter cunt at that!

Surely if the Electricity board converted the building into offices then the council cannot demand a listed building status. Once relaxed you cannot re-apply rectospectively.
l don't know, l was passing on what l was told while l was at the ground this morning.

As far as l know it wasn't only offices, it was what controlled all the electricity output for the area. They couldn't buy it (the club) until there was a new one that could take the responsibility over without cutting electric supply.

It will be the shell l guess that as a preservation order on it, as he said they are looking at making it an indoor venue.

Abs, if you look at post 51 you can see behind the engine a train line turning into the power station. Then look at post 46 and you can see a train track that lines up with it and comes down at a gradient in the top left. As there is an engine that definitely worked in the power station, there had to be access to the main rail network and l think these photo collaborate this.

l had no idea about it before today and never gave it a thought !

Just half hour of research probably backs up that it was a railway building owned by the Lecky Board.
