Greg Clarke

There were some reports of him joking about the Thai name, but I didn't hear that on the video I watched. Once was enough; I won't be revisiting it.

He a public figure in an important job in football where race and homophobia are a touchy subject you'd think he'd have the brains to know how to conduct himself in public so he's either arrogant or stupid.

A belated apology from the Old Bill. Not the same subject but the same principle.

Mr Robins said: "On behalf of West Yorkshire Police, I apologise for the additional distress and anxiety caused to all relatives by the language, tone and terminology used by senior officers at the time in relation to Peter Sutcliffe's victims.
"Such language and attitudes may have reflected wider societal attitudes of the day, but it was as wrong then as it is now."

I've read in social media that saying you're not racist "as you have black or Asian friends" marks you out as being a racist. I'm sure someone will explain the rationale behind that one. I prefer to dislike the reporter bloke purely on the basis he seems to have caught his head in a trouser press.
