I agree. Judging by today he’s more of a bench player for this season. He has pace but seemed a bit lost today chasing shadows.
 
Would not be the first time Vardy has been written off during his Leicester career and proven the doubters wrong. I still suspect he still has a major role to play this season. Quite fancy him to be played more out wide, as he was in 2nd half of last season during Nacho's resurgence of form! One thing is for sure, that with a fit-again Barnes, along with Daka, Nacho and Vardy we have one hell of an attacking threat next season! Daka took his goal very well yesterday and Nacho was also getting into some nice positions!
Europa League final in May anyone??? :)
 
I think Vardy will have a big say in this coming season, I didn’t say he wouldn’t. I’m sure he’s experienced enough to be managing himself in these pre season games. With Europe it’s a long old season again this time.
 
With the options that we have we can and should manage our strikers, take some of the load off Vardy and try and keep him fresh.

Still need an experienced defender, Tarkowski being the best 'fit' among the more obvious possibilities and at least one, possibly two wide players. At that point we should be good to go.
