tbf, they're the first county in a long long time not to have.🙂
Great effort though, now don't let it slip County.
It's a bit sad to contrast this with 1975, where our four spinning all rounders won us our first ever County Championship in that hot dry summer - Illingworth, Birkenshaw, Steele and Balderstone. With McKenzie, Higgs and McVicar, an attack to bowl any side out twice in three days

Balderstone went off to play footy for Carlisle after securing the title for us against I think it was Derbyshire???

I worked with Chris Baldestone at EAS in Oadby when he was an umpire, gave him employment in the winter. It was Doncaster Rovers who he played for that night

Gloucester still have to score another 120+ runs to make Leicestershire bat again. I can't see anything other than a Leicestershire victory (weather permitting)...
