Getting away from the political stuff

I had a roast beef sandwich at Arby's that exhibited paranormal behavior. When I questioned the waitress on the origin of the meat and let her know that it was haunted, she asked me to leave. I did plan to forego my hunger and save the meal as a specimen - but wound up eating it anyway.

Sorry, that's all I got.

I know a real-life ghost hunter. Though as he supports Cov, and knows how to use a knife and fork, in trying to find someone similar, he's probably been ghost hunting all of his life. 🍽️

I have a ghost story. Don't feel like sharing it on here though. I have no idea, to be honest. I do sense that there's something 'other' though.

Talking about ghosts/spirits and even ufo's can often lead to ridicule, so people who have had an encounter are reluctant to say too much.
Have not had or want a ghostly experience myself but I've spoken to some very rational people who have including my wife who left one place of employment (the building a former music hall in Leicester) having been spooked on more than one occasion by what she had seen.

Not surprised this thread so far as had little response. Pretty sure there are some good stories out there to relate.

A unsure non-believer myself. Though I know someone who lived in a house in Thrummy, which she said had a very strange atmosphere.

She found her young daughter awake in the early hours of the morning, after hearing talking and laughing. There was no-one else in the room. Her son was fast asleep in another bedroom. The daughter said she had been playing with the little boy, who was on the rocking horse in the corner of the room.

Both children reported seeing a man, who would come to their bedsides in the night.

A quick house move was the result. No further happenings after that...

I've spent many hours in supposed haunted locations. The poltergeist house in Pontefract, (see the film when the lights went out) the hostel in Hull. Oxford castle, the haunted museum in Hinckley, the village in Mansfield, not once have I personally witnessed something that I could say yeah that was paranormal.

Yeah, why don't you out yourself as my Cov friend? :) He says that.. He has a lot of interesting stories though.

Sounds very interesting. I'd definitely like to hear more, but not sure you'd want to share it here.
its mad as hell RegiRoka, great in a frightening sort of way.Probably the scariest thing i'v every done, though i'd do it again sometime in the future, youre right l wouldn't really like to share it on here as theres some idiots who would throw shit while hiding behind their computers so its just not worth it o be honest.

My wife was on a paranormal team in new york. She said half of what they found was weird and genuinely unexplainable, the other half was made up bollox for show.
Another friend was in a paranormal group in san francisco. She said although they all wanted to find something they never did, despite multiple investigations. Maybe there are more ghosts on the Eastern side of the US???
My personal opinion, without any evidence, is that ghosts are merely bleed throughs from other dimensions in the multiverse, nothing to do with spirituality or god/jesus/devil etc.

Many years ago I read some stuff of Tom Lethbridge. Interesting stuff, he believed in 7 dimensions and carried out some experiments to "prove" his theory.
I'm sure folk have had unexplained happenings. But do they come from the mind, is it what we product or is it what's being produced to us by some spirit or in fact another person.
I believe we can send out our own electrical impulses that other folk can pick up. How many times have you walked into a room and thought, Jesus you can cut the atmosphere with a knife.
Picking up on vibes I guess.
Also I like the train of thought of ghosts are recordings in the atmosphere, (visual and or emotional) bit like the old tape advert with the skeleton. Times of extreme emotions are recorded and when the times right with the right atmospheric balance those recordings are played back. That's why so many folk decide to jump off beachy head for example.
Of course it doesn't explain when spirits interact.
Maybe we should get the ouija boards out and ask em.

Love to try that one day , Take it you went abroad to try it? I understand why you do not want to share on here though.
Wales mate, up a mountain in a forest, a mate of mine from Mansfield organises some, he does some in his area as well. If you need a contact let me know. He runs an Health Shop called 3 Kings up there, but let me know and i'll put you in touch. Its scary but amazing a day or so after. The Shamen said to me after we'd done it, that he thought when he saw me, my nephew whos a it crazy and in and out of nick all the time and my mate who is also crazy walking into the camp "what the fuck have we got here" , l could see his point as we're not the normal types there. Even though there was all sorts, like lawyers ex-villians, social workers and plenty of hippy types, do it if you can ! Meet your ancestors : ))

Then theres the optional Frog poisin and Rape' pronounced Harpy, so no raping involved ! Rape' was fucking horrible for me, it felt like i'd just been given my worst ever hangover instantly.

Life's more boring than all that. When we die our electrical impulses stop working. Some nerves may twitch for a while afterwards but not for long. There's no spiritual afterworld/other dimensions etc, it's all in the mind. The mind is a very powerful thing. Hallucinogenic drugs open a door to the subconscious, the same parts dreams come from. When the drugs wear off we find our way back out and close the door. Some people can't find their way back out. Some people find their own way in through psychosis. Must say I've thoroughly enjoyed some psychotropic drugs though.

That's just your opinion. Whilst I'm not disagreeing with it I'm sure folk have had many experiences which your theory/ opinion doesn't hold. You are just talking about experiences through dead.
