The lads are going to need more away ends like Preston last season
Fear the tickets will end up with the same lucky few as normal and the away
ends will be basically the usual over 65 bus outings 😀
 
So when we hit 65 give up going home or away.
Stay in home put the TV on and watch World of Sport with Dickie Davies or Grandstand with Frank Bough.

Watching PBS America about Jack Johnson who after 14 years in the ring with the colour bar not allowing him to fight white boxers he finally became the first black heavyweight champion of the world in 1909. Beating Tommy Burns (real name Noah Brusso) a Canadian in a fight staged in Sydney,Australia. But still the public refused to accept it until the former white undefeated Champion Jim Jeffries came out of retirement to fight Johnson in Reno,Nevada,in 1910. Johnson won and it caused race riots in 50 major American cities in 25 States.
Johnson then did his own “reverse colour bar” refusing fights with other black heavyweights and only fighting white boxers. One of the boxers who fought him was a certain young Irishman named Victor McLaglen who later became a movie actor starring alongside John Wayne in 7 John Ford films.
Johnson lost his title to Jess Willard,a working Texas cowboy, in 1915 and he never fought in the ring again.
He died in a car crash in 1946 at the age of 68.
