I don't say this lightly, it was not the defeat that has made me angry, it was the way we accepted our fate.
Once again we failed at Anfield and once again we showed little attitude for a fight
Against a side where you have to 100 per cent on your game.

For a start I will exonerate the youngsters
JJ had a decent match, Fofana will have learnt more playing against a slippery quick Mane, than any other he has played against, I'll forgive Youri because he must have been knackered.
It showed that Fuchs is getting past it, ,Evans to some degree as well, Albright on is never a wing back, Barnes is such a enigma, and if Maddison has any idea's of becoming an international he better start
playing like one, Vardy was lost without any service Mendy could'nt get to grips in midfield ......but it goes to show that for all there injuries they have a stronger back
up than us, and at the end of it all were mesmerised, and wilted under pressure
And I'm still bloody angry about a non- performance
 
Great post kendal. I really thought we’d put in some kind of performance in the 2nd half but we never got out of 1st gear. We were just so passive. 3 goals shipped. All set pieces. Thought we’d sorted that but it seems no. I’m just glad that we didn’t lose 5/6-0
 
Scousers embarrassed us on Boxing Day and if they had scored six last night
it would not have been deserved
Players in the side who were good in their time but are now not at the top
level. Klopp showed why he was manager of the Scousers and why Rodgers
never made it there
All in all a mid table side who have over performed in the last couple of months😁

Top post kendal. I thought we saw Mendy's limitations and Fofana's performance undermined his 'big club' hair.

At least our shortcomings are obvious. Whether Brendan can address them is another question.
