Maybe it's another case of a player believing in his own hype and wanting to stand out from the rest . A bit like Maddison's boots I suppose.

Sounds like a good job MON has packed in the management lark. Imagine his reaction to some of the hideous barnets that many of 'em sport these days :(

Walshy and Muzzy came to have a look at the model and stayed about half an hour we got talking about the blond haired figure on the pitch and that led to Scott Taylor ala Wembley. They told me that Lennon was all for having his hair dyed blue but MON got wind of it

yes. Poor commentator nearly had a meltdown. As if the Romanian names weren’t hard enough in the first place and then they all go blonde!!
