l actually fancy Chelsea as an outside bet for the title next year. They've got everything there bar a management/coaching set up.

The more you see of him playing for Chelsea the more it seems we got more than top dollar for him. Not quite on the level of the Maguire deal but getting closer with every game.
They’ve spent all that money yet week in week out Silva, who is approaching 40 (!), is their best player.
 
Another player who realistically should have stayed with us.

Given the amount of players they have might Chelsea sell him this summer?

Yep. Söyüncü instead of Amartey and Iversen instead of Ward, and we'd likely be around lower mid-table. We always had the resources at our disposal to significantly improve our defensive issues - unfortunately Rodgers was too stubborn to use them. And he's possibly about to walk into another PL job while we slip quietly into the Championship...

I’m not sure Rodgers was too stubborn. I’m more convinced than ever that he was deliberately trying to be sacked from that first Brentford game
 
Thought it was very telling that, useless as he was, Touré was never replaced. Chris Davies will follow Rodgers round like a puppy dog, somehow adding to his "Elite First Team coach" credentials. I reckon that the twat knew that he would be found out if he brought in a proper coach from outside.

I’ve always thought it strange that nobody replaced the pie eater. So the question is Mr Rudkin why didn’t you question Bodgers about this? He’d been there years sitting on his phone during matches looking bored yet you said nothing. He left and still nothing.
Mr Top. You’ve been totally scammed and the main scammer is still there sitting right next to you wearing your dads badge on his lapel.
