I normally understand your posts, but I’m not getting this one. But if you know what it means and you think it might be effective quoting it to our best players in a bid to persuade them to stay, let’s give it a go.

He’s offski, just like Maddison and Tielemen. The players and other clubs can now see we are carrion.

I just don't get it. When did we suddenly become so broke? Have we been paying the players too much? How come we are apparently at risk of contravening FFP rules when richer big spenders like Man. City, Newcastle and Chelsea apparently are not? Why don't we just come out and say that we are building the team around key players like Maddison and Fofanna and that therefore they are not for sale?

There are more questions than answers.

Rodgers will use all this speculation and negativity to great effect. He’ll create that siege mentality, turning those ‘only team in Europes top 5 leagues not to sign a player’ slurs into positive energy. He’ll galvanise the squad, send them out against Brentford, and smash them!
