my Rush suggestion was in response to Wombats question. As for favounite artist Joni Mitchell is my favourite female artist of all time and also agree about Neil Young.

Barkman Turner Overdrive..........You ain't.......seen.....nothing yet..........lets rock

Yes, double edged question / post....
Rush was the big band in 70's/80's..... April Wine never hit the same heights but a great band
BTO "you ain't seen nothing yet" on every UK pub juke-box back in 1973!
Neil Young is a musical genius / global icon with Crazy Horse / CSNY - same with Joni Mitchell of course.
Jeff Healy - arguably the superior version of George Harrison's "While my guitar gently weeps"
Tragically Hip and Alanis Morissette, from more recent times

Rush - Canada's apology for giving us Celine Dion
Always liked Alanis Morissette, but need a dictionary for her lyrics. I could listen to The Couch all day and still wouldn't know who is who.
Sarah McGloclan - Beautiful voice, Wintersong is a Christmas favourite.
Saw "July Talk" a couple of years ago. The singers have a very powerful stage presence. They virtually bounce off each other.

I think we actually had a black guy here once, but he took off.

Any Paul Anka fans on the board?

F**k you, Australia.

B. Adams got traded for Rita Tushingham and Phil Collins hot daughter, fair and square. No give backs, sucker.

And Cohen has, according to many sources, written the song most covered by other musicians.

Not bad for a Canadian
