Days of the same few attending away games is looking like it has gone
Away tickets at Preston and Huddersfield selling very slowly
The days of season ticket holders and members snapping up all tickets has gone
The club needs to put away tickets on general sale and give the opportunity to fans
who have not normally gone away
The away support over the last few years has been very poor by many who have attended
It could be a good time to refresh the away support with some youngsters replacing the flask brigade
Not optimistic think the club would sooner sell 1500 to the same old few than 3,000 to newcomers
Once again the sign of a club totally out of touch with the fanbase and the further stench of apathy surrounding the place

Huddersfield on a Wednesday night understandably selling slowly but Preston away the only 3.00 kick off in the first couple of months is surprisingly selling slowly. I assumed these would sell quickly & now they're on sale to all season ticket holders & there's still plenty left.
Will the club then sell to members & then go onto general sale when there's still some left?
The optimist in me says we're heading back to the days of just turning up at the ground & buying a ticket on the day.

Well two blocks appear to have sold out for Preston with the third going slowly now. But I take your point, it has taken a week to get to this point.

3.00 Saturday, terrific ground & away end, first away game of the season, new manager. Allpointers that should have indicated a fast sell out.
I'm absolutely staggered that there are still loads of tickets available for this. Very worrying signs that the fan's disillusionment with the club is greater than most of us realised

You’re in cloud cuckoo land if you think the “flask brigade” aren’t still going to be there. It’ll be the 20 somethings + middle aged blokes with their kids who will be thinking twice about paying fortunes to go & watch a club being run into the ground.

I'm keeping an eye on how Preston away tickets are selling. Been on sale to members since yesterday & still approx 600 left. Being as the club are now committed to selling the 3rd (& final) section, will the remaining unsold tickets go on general sale to non members for the first time in years?
Will be interesting to see how this pans out.

I think the fact that they sell the worst tickets first is the reason tickets are selling slowly, if they sold the center blocks or upper tiers first i think they would sell straight away.

I think it shows the apethy towards the setup at the minute.

Charlton tickets are now on sale to all season ticket holders and they’ve now opened the rear blocks. Like Preston though I think they need to look to put tickets on general sale.

The club could also not treat the home support like some sort of barely tolerated pariah to have their wallet rinsed at every opportunity. But they don't.

Only 65 left for Charlton away.

Plenty left for both Huddersfield and Preston that should by now be put on general sale.
