F.A Cup Final team

Brauny

The optimistic pessimist
Going to be some disappointed players.
Who makes it ? Who loses out ?

Madders, got to be a bench warmer hasn't he ?
Young Thomas to start ?
Albrighton ?

Scousers aren't pleased ManUre fielded their reserves. Will they complain if it's a similar line up for their match?

The Premier League didn't give Man United much option. Playing a game two days after the previous one is tough, then to ask them to do it again is nigh impossible. The way the fixtures landed, the best United could do was play their strongest team in the 1st and 3rd games.
Any other combo wouldn't of worked for them.
Anyway do I feel sorry for the victims .?Not a chance. In 2005 Uefa let them in through back door when they finished 5th in the league. At that time Liverpool were European champions, but Uefa hadn't countered on a club winning the CL and not being good enough to qualify through the league. Consequently they let them in by changing the rules. Liverpool had to play the 3 summertime qualifiers to progress to their usual entry stage, hence a game against Total Network Solutions.
So they have benefited in the past, I hope on this occasion they lose out.

Really pleased the way we recovered from the Newcastle debacle - we also dug in for the last 10-15 minutes last night which was great to see.

But whichever team we put out on Saturday, we have to 'up' our game & take it to Chelsea. Be as laboured as we have been during large patches of the last couple of games, & they won't have to move out of 2nd gear.

Said it yesterday, no manager would have done any different to what ole did, not klopp , not anyone.
The key to this scenario was man uā€™s 3rd game. If Man U had say 4 -5 days break before the Liverpool game they would have played a stronger side yesterday even after playing Sunday aswell.
The only gripe Liverpool fans can have is it was Man U supporters that caused this scenario.
Very funny šŸ˜†

based on recent form (and i'm not including his goal) thomas has to start ahead of ricardo. pains me to say it, but ricardo was so far off it against newcastle.

and based on last night maddison did more in his first 5 minutes than perez did. admittedly he disappeared after that, but we did move to 'containing' mode.
