Enzo out

To anyone outside of Leicestershire that would make us a complete laughing stock.
14 wins from 17 and 10 PTS clear of 3rd would have most thinking we had lost the plot.
Obviously closer to home we would all like the swashbuckling football that would be befitting of a team with our record ( most wins, best GD and top of the league)
Let's not forget the bigger picture though. There is only one aim this season and that's promotion.
So should we be obsessed with the style of play at this stage ?
Imo so long as we keep churning out results and achieve our main priority then I could accept the sleep inducing stuff that's on offer for this season.
Clearly Leeds and Ipswich in the main, look easier on the eye . Yet the cold hard facts though is that the league table doesn't lie after 17 games.
If Leicester regain their Prem status there will inevitably be more changes and greater quality in the team given that they will back amongst the Prems pot of gold.
I am not knocking those that criticise what they are seeing, I have seen myself the walking pace and lack of movement that doesn't warm the cockles. There are also times when we look good as well.
It's a 46 game season, there are going to be disappointments, but if we can get anywhere close to replicating the 1st 17 games over the next 17 then we will be as good as up.
That'll do for me.
