England vs Spain thread

Didn't see it coming.

Well done to them. They certainly done it the hard way.
Looked completely out on their feet in extra time.

That said it matters not, England's name is on the trophy again and you can't erase that from the history books.

Congratulations to our ladies👏👏

Good job a so called USA president was not there else it would have said 2025 European Ladies champions J Trump.

It shows that St George’s Park is really starting to come to fruition. Both men and especially the ladies. Just bloody brilliant
The Ladies bought into the St George’s Park set up from the get go. The men less so. Always seemed that they didn’t want to be there. I think that mindset is changing though.

Whether you like the women's game or not. They went in with the attitude of winning in anyway they could, refused to be cast as underdogs and had a team member who played the entire tournament, with a fractured tibia.
Remember these things the next time the England men's team and our club team, cave into the idea of superior opposition and lay crying on the floor, when they break a fingernail...
The women's team, putting the men to shame...

Absolutely amazing that most people on here are constantly saying they are not at all interested in the womens game , and yet two posts on the subject have garnered over 150 replies so far.

Well done ladies, you deserve all the praise and news coverage you are receiving.

Up the wimmin 👊
