England U21 Next Manager

The Leper of the board.
Former England defender Sol Campbell is among those who have applied to replace Aidy Boothroyd as England Under-21 manager. Campbell, 46, who started his managerial career with Macclesfield in League Two in 2018, has been out of a job since leaving Southend United in June 2020.

Cue all the "institutional racism" bollox when he gets turned down because he's simply SHIT.

He went to a financially stricken Macclesfield and kept them up and then went to a financially stricken Southend to try and get a foot on the ladder. He was working at Roots Hall under a transfer embargo with a squad already lacking any quality for League One, in fact as this season showed their squad was unfit for league football.

Kudos for going in at the deep end and facing up to the challenge of 2 basket case clubs.
