Endurance found after 107 years

Two great stories - first, Shackleton’s incredible story of survival, and now they’ve found his ship a century later and it’s in immaculate condition. Just amazing.
 
One of my prized possessions when I was a kid was a plastic submarine out of a Kelloggs corn flakes packet. You had to put a little bit of baking soda in it then drop it into the bath. I later made a model of the Scharnhorst so that I could torpedo it!

What was the Endurance predominantly made of? As we know, The Titanic has been in the water for a similar amount of time, and yet is rotting away at an alarming rate. Just curious.

Something to do with wood-eating worms that can't survive in the temperatures where Endurance is.
