"one covid micron is one 400,000th smaller than a cross section of a human hair". Think about it !

It's been know for ages, that masks are fairly pointless.

Wash your hands. Don't touch your face...blah blah blah...

If people want to wear masks, that is fine by me. Just don't require others to do so. I am not part of your delusion.

The other day I had to have a conversation with a lady wearing a black cloth mask. After years of rock and roll my hearing is not that sharp and because I could not get any visual clues to what she was saying, I had to get her to repeat what her words, several times.

She got quite exasperated but fortunately I was in 'calm' mode and refrained from telling her what to do with her mask.

It is up to people whether they want to wear a mask or not. Vaccines should be a choice too.

I wouldn't condemn anyone for doing, or not doing either thing.

Could be hearing aid time in all seriousness - you might have get used to listening to people with masks. For your safety as well as theirs, as I’m sure you’ll appreciate.

Generally speaking it is really not that bad, no problem at all in normal circumstances. I think you might underestimate just how important sight is in such things.

For the moment I shall just ask those wearing masks to speak up a little if I have a problem. Since my throat cancer, my voice is soft and quite low pitched so I get asked to repeat myself on occasion, I am getting better at remembering to speak up though.
