Did Oswald Kill JFK?

Well Oswald is on record as saying he was out at the front of the building, watching the Presidential Parade. The image for Prayer Man does look a lot like him, though obviously not a definite. Too blurry.

Also Bonnie Ray Williams was eating his lunch, right up to 12:20pm. Right next to where Oswald would have been waiting in the window, with his gun. With the JFK motorcade running late, Oswald had to be in place at that time. There is no way he wouldn't have been spotted.

Okay. But what do you think? Bearing in mind that the last official inquiry went with the 'probably more than one person involved' line, do you think the earlier Warren Report was right: Commie outsider Oswald acted alone and killed JFK?

To be honest.... This was bugging me for years. Eventually, about 7 or 8 years ago, I decided I wanted my own opinion and dived ito it for a couple of months. Books, interviews, witness statements, online conferences, presentations, picture evidence etc, and by the end of it I was clear on one thing: you can believe the original official verdict if you want, but to get to that decision, you had to get over and disregard a large amount of evidence that contradicted it. Perhaps too much for comfort.

I don't think he did otherwise it would of had to be a magic bullet. I think there was a gunman on the grassy knowl somewhere

Another thing that bugs me. There were three spent shells in the snipers nest. So three bullets had to be fired. Unless an empty shell was ejected and I'm not even sure whether that gun could hold an empty round in the chamber?

Only two bullets hit a target. The first one just before the Stemmons Freeway sign. The other, which hit the President in the head.

Plenty of witnesses testified that the first shot happened, when JFK was hit in the back/throat. Which was four seconds before the head shot.

Not very likely that three shots from the same rifle, happened in four seconds.

Where did the third shot that missed, come from?

There are many first-hand witnesses that independently agree with each other, but yet are at odds with the Warren Report. As a case, it's very interesting. I've always found the 'professional' evidence very compelling. I think we all know that loud sounds can echo and deceive you in a built-up area, but some of the best witnesses on the scene are the policeman who owned the gun shop: at the scene he identified the gun found as a German type. A day later it becomes the Italian one bought by Oswald. The surgeons at the hospital: WW2 vets and working in a state renowned for gunshot incidents, all identity a shot from the front rather than back. Probably the most compelling: the two FBI agents assigned to be with the president while in surgery: both back up the doctor statements, but aren't allowed to speak at the Warren inquest, and can't go public. Eventually they do go public when they retire. Go watch the interview. It's obvious that they are telling the truth.

There was a Mauser in the TSBD, at the same time as the Carcano. Another employee had brought it in a couple of days before the assassination. We are supposed to believe that Oswald brought his rifle into work, in a brown paper bag.

The rifle would have needed putting together in readiness for the assassination. He would have had to work a shift that morning, unless his boss allowed for breaks to assemble rifles. He certainly wasn't putting the thing together, while a fellow employee was eating his lunch three feet away and 10 minutes before the assassination began.

Nowadays, folk shrug their shoulders and take it that he was slotted probably by his own people and accept it.
Will folk do the same in 50 years time when talking about 9/11 or how we crashed and burnt the economy in 2020 to reset the debt clock and read in amazement how we all fell for it?

I'm amazed that Nixon got done, looking back at it. It makes you wonder who he'd upset.

When we exchanged a few posts about this you were obviously well clued up, certainly more than me, now I know why?

Sometimes things bug me and I have 'to know' at least what the possible truth of something is. I was lucky that it also matched a Christmas holiday that was much longer than normal.

Ah... It's the Spanish.
In Hungarian :
Kék: blue
Róka: fox.
Régi: old.

Ironically, the username RegiRoka means that I'm old.
