Demoralised by back to back defeats

That's the players according to Dean Smith on the BBC football website. Sorry, but it is the fans, who can do nothing about it, who should be demoralised. The players should be working their bollocks off, angry and ashamed at their ineptitude, determined to give everything they possibly can to rescue a situation which is (in addition to failure of management), of their own making.

"I think they’re demoralised by the last couple of results”.

Can you imagine either of Allardyce or AllLardDyche ever saying anything like that in public? Of course not. I’m never going to side with anyone blaming ‘Alas Smith and crones’ for us going down this season, that culpability rests firmly with Rodgers. But to allow the corrosive effects of TCR’s MoJo loss to set in for so long, then finally appoint someone who’s not even going to go Medieval in the run up to the last two games, well, God help us.

Agree. We should have gone "full Watford" and sacked him for these last two, try to find someone (anyone) with a touch of the bravehearts about them.
