Daka and Soumare

Something tells me this pair aren't going to make it in the PL. When Rodgers joined the club my Celtic supporting son in law warned me that his transfer record was crap and, apart from Fofana, I'm struggling to identify a player he's brought in who has massively improved the team, Even Tielemans has been inconsistent. Puel (who didn't want to let Fofana go) actually had a better record in that respect.

before this Summer, Rodgers had signed

Fofana
Castagne
Justin
Tielemans
Perez*

All absolute shite

*exception that proves the rule

Soumare looks the part and give Daka time. Remember with each step up Vardy took, coming to us from Fleetwood, and then the jump to the Premier League, he needed time to adapt.

You probably about right. The only caveat being that the can't afford a whole season of them 'settling in' if Trophies are to be won or a CL or EL place achieved.

Rodgers doesn't make the signings. Idiot

course we can have an opinion on him. we can't have a conclusion, but we can certainly assess what we've seen so far.

my assessment is that his finish against napoli was very good - he was unlucky to be offside - but otherwise he looks way off the level we need. however its very VERY early days and we've seen (not least with vardy) that it takes a while to adjust to the step up. a work in progress.

Daka is young and has come from an average league. He’s only 22. Needs time. Reckon he’ll play in Warsaw.
I watched the highlights of the Napoli/Cagliari match last night. That Osimhen is a bloody handful. He’s like a young Lukaku but he cost £64m. Way out of our league.
