This is about football not politics.

I've read that top epidimeoligists say the 3 tier system is useless and a circuit breaker is inevitable, does this mean Football will be paused for that time too?

Elite football won't be paused. Grass roots can still carry on under tier 3 from memory but a travel ban makes things problematic

All local sports, kids and adult, have been banned here in the bay area since March.
I've put on about 2 stone without my twice weekly footy.

There is no space in the season for any kind of break especially for the teams playing in European competition.

It’s brutal.

Some of the blokes I work with do a 50 hour week then play twice at the weekend, stop sympathising with the bunch of softies
