If there’s an offer in for him that’s good enough we would surely be looking for a very decent replacement for him right now, and spend a few quid whilst doing it. Not all transfers are plastered all over the press.
 
Or we could just say that selling our best player will leave a hole which may or may not be filled by one/two replacements.
We have to rid ourselves of the notion that a few 2+2 = 4 COMMENTS IN THE PARASITE PRESS MEANS WE HAVE TO FALL IN LINE. yES, WE HAVE DONE WELL SO FAR BUT THeRE IS ALWAYS THE DANGER WE DO A SOUTHAMPTON AND GO INTO DIVE MODE.

Quality player when fully fit, more likely to replace the waning Maddison than Tielemans (got a feeling he will give us another season) if I’m honest, still only 29 and his free kicks actually hit the target not the wall or row Z….

I also read this injury may save Barcelona 20 million on the price they agreed with Liverpool which may also be why he’s available so reasonably.

Well seeing as he deliberately chose Leicester over other high profile clubs associated with the glare of big city lights, on the grounds that he wanted a quiet place to live with his wife and to raise a family, I think you are talking out of your arse.

I don’t believe there is any hope of this happening and sincerely hope it doesn’t. His wages are enormous and his fitness more than questionable. At 29 he’s too old to fit the Leicester transfer model.

Rodgers has said that he wants players who have been there, done it. Something along those lines anyway.
Nothing wrong with a couple of experienced players on the pitch, Schmeichel is stuck in goal, Vardy & Evans may not play as many games next season.
He'll either take a pay cut or Barcelona will pay a fair bit of it to get him off their books.

Not sure there's anything in the rumours anyway.
