Cook Up A Draw Tonight?

A draw would suit both Braga and us.
Getting 7 points by the halfway stage in the group would suit both teams.

Not for me thanks. They may be a notch up on AEK Athens but only a notch. I would expect nothing but a win.

But I agree with the sentiment - a draw wouldn’t be a disaster and would be classed as a good first half of the group stage.

A draw away to them would be OK, but surely winning the home game and hopefully the group is an important target if there's seeding afterwards?

The seedings for last years round of 32 were as follows:

The clubs are split into two pots, with the 12 group winners and the four best third-ranked teams in the UEFA Champions League group stage all seeded.

The seeded teams play at home in the second legs.

· No team can play a club from their UEFA Europa League group or a side from the same national association.

Win the game tonight and maybe we can think about leaving a few players at home for the Braga and Luhansk away games.

They were so bad they couldn’t cook up a draw if they’d have been given a recipe, the food and a Michelin star chef!

Didn't think Braga were so bad to begin with. But our performance just blew them away especially 2nd half.
They are not a rubbish team.
We are a very good team. Whoever we play it seems.

That early goal in the 2nd half totally deflated them.
They aren’t rubbish, it was just that they lost it mentally tonight.

Like I said in another post they’re not rubbish, they’ve real pedigree in this tournament since 2004 which means they also solidly finish in the top few league places in the Portuguese league, and they have made the final of this competition once.

Tonight we were just too good for them. We had a bit of luck for once with the deflection but also scored a couple of great goals.

We can now go away to Braga and consider leaving Vardy and another couple of players back at home if we want to.
