Come on Serbia

Must be a sign of the times, but I'm going against my natural instincts and will be rooting for them. Only on behalf of two good sweaty friends and my godson, mind... ;)
 
I personally want Scotland to win tonight and qualify. An England v Scotland group game in the European Championships at Wembley next summer whets the appetite far more than an England v Serbia group game.
 
So you'll be aware of the scottish attitude to English football, my old man raised me to dislike Scotland and their fans when it came to football, but not to dislike the Scots as a nation.

When they qualify and get sent home it means they can't take the piss when we eventually fuck up.
I just find it more amusing when they fail, once again, to qualify in the first place.
 
You've only got to look at some of the dirty, niggly shitty stuff Robertson dishes out as 'extras' most games (and never booked for them) to hope they produce a performance Souness could be proud of.

I had a night in Belgrade once on my way home from Montenegro v England. It was the day after Scotland had played there. I ended up boozing with some Scots from Aberdeen for the night. Not a kilt in sight thank god!!
 
Oh dear, I suppose we’ll have to suffer weeks of the usual jingoistic tartan army bullshit accompanied by Krankie taking credit for it and then the customary humiliating elimination from the Euros in the first stage.
