Holland is the real loss, not the likes of Mike.
Ahmed aggravated his dodgy side muscle batting last weekend, which is why he didn't bowl. I'm sure he's young and fit enough to recover quickly enough for the one day stuff coming up...
 
Why didn’t they do a round or two with the Kukkaburra ball earlier in the season when the England lads were in and around their counties?

Looked like they had left a bit of green on the pitch presumably in the hope of offering the bowlers a little more early doors given the likely reduced movement off the seam with this ball so maybe a bit less of a surprise. Balls were flying a bit early on but the batsmen did well. As mentioned above we don't appear to have the same depth in the batting line up as usual so if we give wickets away cheaply we could struggle but otherwise nailed on draw I reckon. Will see what today brings (probably severe sunburn & dehydration for me... still, could be worse, I could be working).
 
Derbyshire have a 100 + defecit going into Lancs 2nd innings.
Lancs have come back well in this game and Derbyshire will find it difficult to win from their current position
 
People getting carried away but the performances now getting back to the usual

Lancashire getting the act together and
should be back in their rightful place in Division one
