Championship squad

Players returning for pre season training ahead of our championship season - Iversen Justin Faes Souter Kristiansen Periera Thomas Dewsbury-Hall Vardy Iheanacho Daka . Back from loans - Choudhury Albrighton Hirst From U21s - Brunt Nelson Leshbela Braybrook Alves

Good enough for a promotion push? most definitely. Coach / manager - Mark Robins {Cov) or Jon Dahl Tomasson (Blackburn)

Well we are supposed to have some young talent in the reserves give them there heads next season we cannot do any worse.

Not one single squad player except possibly Justin and Iversen will want to be part of Championship campaign. The likes of Nacho and Daka will be outta here quicker than you can say Amokachi! Vardy will go MLS for a big pay day to pay off his Mrs court case, we know who is out of contract.... I truly fear the worst.

IF Coventry do not get promoted, the best suggestion yet is to go for Mark Robbins.

I feel that we have tried to invent ourselves as a 'big' club, with all the trappings that go with that.

Our management structure, from Rudkin and Rogers down tried to behave like we were but that was never really the case, several years of trying to emulate the big clubs by playing in 'their' style gave us the FA cup but also several years of 'Brendanball'.

We cannot compete with the BCC clubs at their own game, not being in London or the north east limits our attraction and the FPP regulations limit our spending. We need to find a different way.

A tighter leaner approach, a clear understanding as to what we are going to do and the people necessary to make that happen, nothing and no one that is superfluous to that aim.

I have outlined a possible structure to achieve that elsewhere, trying to ape the 'big' clubs has left us broken and, quite possibly, broke, the re-build is going to be massive.

I think you missed out top in your 2nd paragraph he is no way blameless in all this in fact he has got to take fair share of it its his club

Controversial I know but that D@rby manager had them playing some brilliant football.

What is it with this inane posting of players who may or may not be here next season?
Bare with us ,this is a time of reflection and imagining our future. Unlike some of the players who are working deals for there bank accounts. Its a bit like your mum , your Dad can marry again and again. But we only have one mum.
