Car Ploughs Through Liverpool Fans Today

….ive been on this thing through its various guises through two decades
It’s never been a ‘happy place’.
It’s a sounding board for old farts to whinge, punctuated by brief moments of unity and celebration, and inhabited by what seems to be diverse cross-section of pensioners, company directors, PiPs recipients, lefties, righties, stoners, norms and a couple of ex bs.
And limeys 🤷‍♂️ and movers who miss the promised land of Leicestershire 🦊 it’s always funny on radio stations when people are telling the host where they are flying in from for a match and they be back on the plane at 7pm to go home 🤭🤭🤭 imagine that in days of old, I’m still impressed by my mate coming back for a night game when he was working in Middlesbrough for the week bricklaying , he still talks about it now and I nod in awe of him now that does make me one of the old fkz on ere 👨‍🦳, sorry to digress snooty. 🦊👍

Everybody else is on Foxes talk!!

Getting back to the theme of this thread.

It seems the tragic events originated in Dale Street - I used to work there - which being some way back from the parade route was not closed to traffic. You can see another car in front of the Galaxy in some photos. It was though heavily lined with pedestrians returning from the parade to the city centre.

Now whether the driver felt they should keep to the pavement or they thought he was driving recklessly in such crowds - he was beeping his horn - remains to be established but an altercation resulted with some fans attacking the car and the driver seemingly reversing into one of them.

Then he sped off for some 100 yards entering Water Street which was supposed to be closed and shockingly driving into innocent pedestrians. Maybe in an agitated state of mind.

Very sad sequence of events.

I’ve not been here very long compared to some. I joined as it seemed a happy place to be, like minded City fans of a certain age all taking the piss and enjoying themselves. Lately it’s become a place of pessimism and bickering.
It’d Be great for it to get back to the place I joined.
Up the city!
🦊
Grow a pair you wimp!

I doubt many people would post on here if it was all harmonious 😁
Long live the disagreements 🤡

I used to be until your mate bigdave dicked about with one of my posts as a joke amongst the cabal.
So blame your 'unaligned' 'neutral' admin pal for the loss of revenue.
I moved a bunch of messages posted in wrong forums. I understand that when I moved your message, it was a traumatic experience for you.

I put it back after you said youd been 'disenfranchised'.

Telling the truth, I thought your reaction was kind of hysterical. I only moved a message.

But I guess the tragedy of this thread might be an opportunity for us to put it into perspective.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

ACC Sims said the police force was aware of 50 people requiring hospital treatment. "Of those, 11 remain in hospital for ongoing treatment, they are all in a stable condition and I am pleased to say that they appear recovering well."23 hours ago, copied that good news I’m not in the know of course but let’s hope it stays that way old🦊

Bullshit. It was on purpose and you know it.
'traumatic' and 'hysterical'; even now you can't resist an underhanded dig masquerading as contrition. Playing down 'the joke' and blaming the target for being too upset when he didn't go along with it. The usual routine from one of the usual suspects.
There was a principle at stake as far as i was concerned, nothing more, nothing less.
Here's the perspective: your financial loss, tiny though it is, is all on you no matter what mealy mouthed bollox you talk now.

Errr Big Dave don’t get any money, I’m not sure I’ve ever met him, friend of Micky, I waste it all on wine, women and song.

You do sound a little hysterical mind.
