They’re not concentration camps. Forget the definition of britannica, Sixthswan knows better…

Quarantine Facility.

I was referring to the German Concentration Camps.

Yes I get that. But quarantine camps by definition are concentration camps and while I’m not suggesting folk will be gassed or worked to death it’s on the slippery slope. Acceptance of this takes things to the next level.

Quarantine "camps" are not concentration camps by definition? At all.

They are a facility where you go for a few days, until you present less of a transmission threat. To lessen the spread of a disease.

A concentration camp is where you go for an indeterminate period of time, but it must be assumed to be either lengthy, or until death. You are there, because of who you are.

I don't agree with the quarantine facilities for domestic purposes. Can make sense for international travellers, in some circumstances.

But I'm not going to be making the leap from quarantine, to concentration camp. It's just plain daft...

So you’re saying that unvaccinated folk are a threat the the vaccinated? If that’s the case why get vaccinated if it doesn’t offer you protection?
Plain daft.

its all stupid, geared to stupid people, there's never been a clearer example of thinning the Hurd of the weak. In simple for the lot who have trouble with thinking "its killing the stupid". actually the stupid are killing their self .

I didn't say anything about that at all. I was just describing what a quarantine facility.

But if you accept it as a “quarantine facility” then you have to accept the rhetoric behind it. If you don’t accept the rhetoric behind it then there’s something much more sinister going on. They’re not only “quarantining” positive cases in a concentrated area they are also shipping in “close contact” negative folk. I’ve known lots of folk (including myself) who have had close contact with family members and never shown signs of covid and continued to test negative.

starting with the indigenous people, who's that sound like and do you trust them to stop there. We are building them here, Glen Parva for a start. Interesting enough they are incorporating ovens to burn corpses, you might call them crematoriums - Tomato/Tomato !

To be clear again. I don't agree with the idea of quarantine facilities for domestic purposes.
It's still not a concentration camp.

Ok we will agree to disagree. Do you think it’s the thin edge of the wedge considering the reasons they are using? (Both those “with covid” and those with “close contact”)
I’m confused with your attitude, some time back you started to defend the establishment by saying certain things wouldn’t happen. A lot have happened or are partly happening yet still you tow the establishment line. (I get the others because they’ve all jumped into the charade with both feet, where you have been more reasonable in your approach) what will it take for you to go, “hang about, something ain’t right.”

Like I've said. I don't agree with the quarantine stuff.

Perhaps I have confused you over time.

To be clear. I didn't think the government were capable of organising a Covid passport. They seemed too incompetent.
Also I thought if they did, it would be very easy to circumnavigate.
Had the same opinions about unvaccinated people being barred from normal life in some way.
At present, these things still haven't happened fully and I'm hoping it stays that way.
There are ways around it, if you research them.

Just some examples of my stance and thoughts.
I'm not pro-establishment and I'm also not in favour of some of the more strange "anti" stuff either.

I suspect we are more alike, than we care to admit...

Yes, probably, that’s why I asked. I guess the main difference is I’ll stick my head further down the rabbit hole. Also, while there are ways to circumnavigate around the restrictions (and I do) I think in a so called democracy we shouldn’t need it.
I just don’t like the way things are going, open corruption on a massive scale. Our NHS has been destroyed and sold off and no one cares because it was not fit for purpose because it was destroyed by those that have sold it in the first place. Social care destroyed so people who have worked all their life can now be left with nothing when they’ve paid their dues.
All folk are interested in is I’m a fucking celebrity, Jeremy Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser and kids being allowed to wear a skirt if they want to.

I'm open to plenty of conspiracies and I wouldn't be at all surprised, that there is lots of dark stuff behind Covid.
Well let's be honest. Of course there is. Even just at the level of the government allowing mates to makes tons of dosh, on the back of a pandemic. Much more as well, I'm certain.

There is really no Left or Right.
Life and politics are far more complicated than that.

Economically, I'm a realist. The Man wants cash. We are just the pawns. That will never change. Whatever you try, money rules. Hierarchies are created, or maintained. Only the faces change. The message is just advertising.

Socially though, I think we have a duty to allow everyone access to the same level of healthcare, education and social care. No private education. No private healthcare. Free social care.

Corbyn was assassinated by the media. Who knows. Maybe the Millennials and Generation Z will warm to the concrete utopia ideas in the future? Perhaps Jeremy was before his time...

dicky - you introduced the word "vaccinated" to this thread....i've only took a brief look - but am i right to say these 'camps' don't discriminate on vaccination status?
