but "who would you want"

Main issue we have is that the pig headed Rodgers will not resign as it would be an admission if his own shortcomings. If we can’t sign anyone the club is hardly going to pay him millions to get rid of him. He will go in the summer “on his terms” lamenting the lack of spending by the club on signings. Much as I would like to see him gone just brining in someone else is no guarantee of getting us out of this malaise.

Think it would be too late in the season to get our players fit enough for Bielsa ball. I'd defo take him in the summer though, at least he'd play on the front foot

Strange, or telling, that neither Villa, Brighton or Wolves went after Dyche.
Dyche isn’t a client of mendes so would never have been in the frame to manage wolves (it’s more mendes fc than wolves down there).
Regarding brighton, they were absolutely flying under potter when he left, only going in one direction ( & still are), so dyche was never going to be someone they’d look at. But who knows what dyche could do with better players/ world class facilities available & more money to work with than he’s ever had?

That may be but he never seems to have tried to change the way his teams have played. People have moaned about our style of play under Puel and Rodgers, I’d sooner see us sign a more positive manager than someone brought in to just keep us in the PL.

Who's to say he would only look to keep us in the PL ? Is it not possible that he would have higher ambitions too with a bigger budget and a better squad ?

Dyche got Burnley into Europe through their league position, so shouldn't we be worried about coming across a bit entitled and cunty in terms of banging on about stylistic purity as we sit near the drop zone? We take the piss out of The Derby Way, etc, don't we?

I'd never heard of De Zerbi before he went to Brighton, nor Lopetequi, but then I don't follow European football, but there must be better managers out there that I/we dont know of, but those inside the game do know.

So you’d be happy with Dyche then?
What happens if he does only have one style of play and is incapable of getting us above the bottom six? How long before the moaning starts about getting a new manager?
He may of course be the answer but I’m fairly certain than when we were sat in the top 4 for almost the entire season or were applauding our team as they lifted the FA Cup that you wouldn’t have jumped at the chance of getting him as our next manager.

Hackers, we’re skint, without many playing assets, getting relegated. If you think we’re too good for Dyche, perhaps you should switch your allegiance to a bcc. Would you rather keep Bodger? People shilling him for the thick end of two years is what has got us to this low value point.

Not sure how many more times I have to say that I want Rodgers out, just happen to think many are aiming too low. Buy cheap, buy twice? If you’re happy with Dyche perhaps you switch your allegiance to ……
Fcuk knows but don’t start telling me who I should support.

No need to get aggressive. We need rid of the twat, instead of asking everyone else who they favour, throw a name in, I have. Having said that, would Dyche want to come to the shit show we’ve become.

See Wints and David Nish’s posts. The list of managers we should be looking at should be a bit longer than names you or I can come up with.
I was no more aggressive then you were telling me that because I don’t think Dyche is ip to scratch that I should support a bcc.

At the moment, for a rebuild based on good old-fashioned values including graft and backbone, yes I would be happy with a manager proven to do OK in the PL – plus as I've said before, with a record of getting Burnley well above the bottom 6, which you seem to be fixated on.
If whatever's left of our squad is indeed as good as some believe, who's to say what ceiling he'd reach with us?

I don't follow it either, but funnily enough I did know of those two because of Seville's amazing EL record, and the Ukraine disaster which had caused RDZ to leave Shaktar. But in the same way that Brighton knew instinctively which single manager to appoint, we should be in the same position. But it's never really felt like that, has it?
