Not quite as busy as hoped for as the tunnel was closed so could t get to the O2 for New Order last Saturday.
Tricky at Brixton Electric on Monday
Jarv Is at the Roundhouse on Tuesday.
John Lydon book tour tonight at Union Chapel tonight.
Good to be back at gigs.

My mate's at the Lydon book tour thing tonight.
Just sent me a photo of him and Lydon with Lydon signing something.
I replied "Spot the twat!".

I left, he’s turned into a caricature of himself. Went to something similar a few years back where he was amusing and entertaining. Tonight consisted of him saying ‘fucking cunts’ every 20 seconds, belches, tired old cliches about foreigners and a Diane Abbot joke.

He was a complete fuckwit to take that legal action against the rest of the band over granting licences to that Danny Boyle film about the Pistols.
He was bound to lose and its cost him millions in legal fees. And he has had to pay the other side's costs as well.
It has skinted him for life.

Would have helped shift some records as well which would have helped with the costs of keeping PIL going. More butter adds coming up?

How was Tricky? Saw him a few years ago at the Indigo2 where he was supposed to be doing “Maxinquaye” in its entirety.

Decided to do new material plus had guest rappers etc in the interludes.

Martina TB was there as well - she was the best thing about the gig. But the tension was obvious between the 2, & the ugliest atmosphere generally I’ve ever experienced at a gig! We left before the end because we thought something was going to kick off.

A short set, only 50 minutes. Few old hits and plenty from the last album with the I’m assuming it was the Polish singer but not sure. They did New Stole so I was happy. A few deaf fans in as they had a signer on the stage. The bass was incredible, everything shook. Definitely going the next chance I get.

Not a huge fan of Pulp or Jarvis Cocker albums but he’s very entertaining live.
Who wouldn’t enjoy a track with the line ‘cunts are still ruling the world’?

Saw them at the Academy in Brixton about 20 years ago. Wasn't particularly a fan of Pulp but Jarvis is such a showman, it was one of the best gigs I'd been to.
