Why has he gone to Chelsea to sit on the bench?
Couldn’t they make do with a sheet?Cover for Palmer.
Obviously Chelsea paid a higher "Loan Fee" so the money merry-go-round keeps circulating in the "The BEST League In The WORLD (It’s crazy the choices players & the club loaning out the players make.
If it was Brighton who decided they’d prefer him to go to Chelsea than Leeds, how does that make sense for Brighton when he would have got plenty of game time for Leeds?
He was on social media a few days back when he was announced at Chelsea saying he was really looking forward to playing in the champions league. Maresca announced the squad 2 days after & he isn’t even in it.
So many decent footballers out there hardly playing any games cus of the media 6.Obviously Chelsea paid a higher "Loan Fee" so the money merry-go-round keeps circulating in the "The BEST League In The WORLD (Sky Sports)"
I think selling the whole amount of the money goes straight into the books but buying its spread over the contract length. If so then say sell for 10 mill buy for 12 mill over say 4 years gives an immediate book profit of 7 mill this year then if loaned out for say 1/2 mill per year. Total income 12 mill total outlay 12 mill but 7.5 mill profit for this year's books. That's my take on it anyway.Speaking of Chelsea, did you see they sold a player to their sister club in France, then bought him back a couple of weeks later, then instantly loaned him out (for a fee?).
Values involved not disclosed, but is this their latest psr wheeze after the hotel sales, and the women's team sale?
That is the usual way yes but UEFA's rules (which are far more prescriptive than the PL's in my view - G.3.7 in this case) say that adjustments need to be made in the accounts for transfers between related parties (two such transfers in this case) that, if I understand it correctly, prevent them from creating profit on the sale or amortising in quite the same way. You'd like to think that the PL's own associated party rules would only sanction such transfers on the understanding that there is no financial gain but I wouldn't hold my breath (and we have seen that club's fall foul of UEFA's rules but not the PL's already). Also in the case of the Chelsea player it might depend on the buy back clauses in the contract under which the deal was done.I think selling the whole amount of the money goes straight into the books but buying its spread over the contract length.
