I would go so far as to agree that Johnson , Gove etc had no desire to see Brexit happen other than a vehicle to fulfill their own ambitions .
The tragedy is that now they have it they haven’t the faintest idea what to do with it .
The country meanwhile slowly dies . These lying bastards and their billionaire allies in the right wing press who persuaded folks to vote against their own interests to protect their tax havens and consolidate their power ,will of course eventually skulk off relatively unharmed, leaving the country and 99% of us screwed for decades.

Most of what you say is spot on but you still have not grasped the audacious scale of the con.

They do know what they are doing, they know precisely that their actions will destroy what is left of the economy and social structure of this country (and most of the west) and that is what they want.

The precursor to 'Build Back Better', the development of a 'slave' economy where the 'elite' control every aspect of our lives, even in time our numbers. This will not be instant, it will take some time but look how far we have come in a littler over 1 year.

There will be labour shortages
Our fishing industry will be decimated
There will be food shortages
Roaming charges will be re introduced
It will cost us billions per year in lost trade

Get angry with the liars not the “experts” who predicted exactly what is happening

There were always going to be issues, leavers (wrongly) assumed that the UK authorities would work at resolving those issues and doing the best that they could for the people and businesses of this country.

They have done no such thing, in fact they have worked to make things worse. They are remainers and are happy to wreck this country in order to get back into their beloved EU. Leavers have had nothing to do with this failure.

It wasn't inevitable, a pro leave government would have sorted things out and moved the country forward in a positive and decisive manner. That is what we voted for, simple as that.

Instead, the 'shit' that we have is a consequence of remainers in power who have done their level best to ruin the country in order to prove that they were right.

Weirdly enough, I don't think a pro-Leave govt would've been much different in approach to what Johnson has done.

Lots of bluster around "independence", "getting freedom back", flag-shagging & references to a wistful, sepia-tinged view of Britain that 95% of Britain never actually lived through.

The only difference might've been that shamelessly, they would've been happy to not admit defeat, & continue to career this country off the cliff-edge, & then blame it on the voters, because "it was what they voted for".

Thinking about it, there is absolutely no difference between Johnson & a pro-Leave govt. Johnson isn't even a remainer - he's just a bullshitter.

We were part of a common energy market which smoothed out price fluctuations in gas prices and supplies . We were invited to remain after Brexit but the ideology of course was to leave all things EU
The Tories ignored warnings that our low gas storage capacity would need to be increased due to the risk this would involve . They took no notice .
Brexit is not to blame for shortages but the effect in the U.K. will be enormous compared to EU
Many peoples energy bills will increase by 50% in next 6 months . Truly devastating for many .

In the EU it is likely to be around 5-10 % .

Hardly the cheaper energy bills Brexit was sold on.

As I say it’s the liars who you should be angry with not the folks who point out how much we were lied to by these swines

It would have been totally different if we had put leavers in charge, it never happened so it is conjecture but it is hard to see how it could have been any worse. Personally I think Article 50 immediately after the referendum, leave in 2 years on WTO rules and work from there.

Bit different to what we did get, sub-surviant, pro EU Teresa May and her henchman in chief Ollie Robbins.

We have loads of energy possibilities in the UK. It is a political decision not to use them, nothing to do with Brexit.

Everything to do with controlling the people by energy rationing.

And before anyone stereotypes me as a Tory, then think again. I voted for them in the last election because of the circumstances, it was the first time I had for about 30 years. I voted for Blair when he first came to power, and have always tried to steer clear of being obsessed with any political party. If I like what someone is offering, I am prepared to support them.

Anyway I am out of here, I will leave it to the usual suspects to pull this post apart.
