1. The architect of Brexit admits you’d “have to have a screw loose to be confident it was going to work” ( aka we lied to you all to get into power )

2. We are now paying the French 55 million quid to police the borders we are supposed to have “taken back control of”, because as predicted, illegal immigration has doubled since Brexit

3. The clown who negotiated ,signed and did a lap of honour shouting about what a fantastic deal for Britain it was ,is now moaning about how shit it ,in fact, is

It’s just FUNNY now . 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Or more like a few power hungry treacherous fools , who don’t care how much damage they do to the ordinary folks of our country, lie through their teeth to persuade people to vote against their own best interests . They are now trying to wriggle out of the responsibility for this monumental clusterfuck by blaming The EU . It’s truly fucking hilarious

Good to see you live by your principles of basing assertions on "facts based evidence". No pie in the sky supposition or random conjecture to support an entrenched viewpoint from you eh ? All unequivocal, proven facts.

Not me. Does not even sound like me, not something that I would say, even in a rant.

Have you asked yourself why the UK is trying to renegotiate a deal it said was perfect less than a year in?

As a matter of interest if more immigrants are coming here since Brexit does that mean they think Britain is getting better or the EU is getting worse?

Who said it was perfect?

Who said it was perfect?
Those who signed it off without reading it and won an election on the back of the promise of it.

The UK does not maintain that data.

Which is why I have maintained that we have never really left. The entire British establishment wanted us to stay in, hence the delays and the deliberate cockups to make any kind of separation as difficult and as painful as possible.

I thought, briefly, in 2019 that Johnson might have the balls, well ego actually, to take us out but I was wrong. He lied and simply continued with the 'punishment beatings' being inflicted on the voter for daring to vote the wrong way in 2016.

This is not incompetence, it is a deliberate policy to bring us to heal and get us back in the EU.

As you know AFC I think this is absolute tripe but for once I sincerely hope you are right 😂

Oh, I'm definitely right, though the collective destruction of Western Europe that has been massively enhanced by the covid plandemic may well make that all irrelevant anyway.

Hang on to your golf sticks, you are going to need them - for self defence!

In the past I have suggested , in jest, that you seek professional help.

I now urge you to get help ASAP.

You have morphed from winging remainer to unhinged obsessive.

Not really _ just amused observer .

Still waiting for you to tell me one tangible benefit from this nonsense so the loss of my freedom of movement and reduction in wealth may be softened just a touch ?

Mmmm . So my 3 points in the OP are ramblings
Or just today’s latest episode in a 6 year ongoing farce ?
Don’t worry chaps only another few decades to go before it all settles down 👍

It's over. It's not great. It'll rumble on not being great for years. But we are not going back.

Where were you planning to move to and when? How has Brexit scuppered your plan?

How much wealth have you lost?

You have a complete and utterly unhealthy obsession with it. It's not good for you, I would be concerned for your well-being if I was unfortunate enough to be related to you.
Regarding Brexit the nation will always be divided over it, but there are no signs of voting intentions being altered despite the apocalyptic picture you paint.
In a recent poll asking how people would vote if there was another one, 43% said leave and 40% said remain with 15% undecided.
Surely if it was such a fuck up then it would swing in favour of remain, which it clearly hasn't.

That’s fine Brauny . Thanks
This is a political board and people should be allowed to put ( hopefully informed ) opinions without being personally abused .
I am occasionally guilty of that sadly , but generally enjoy open discussion if only as a way of letting of steam 😀

Was vaguely considering it but it has undoubtedly become a lot more difficult for Brits abroad .extensive travel in the EU which I hope to do once retired is now going to be much more expensive and more hassle , from border queues to roaming charges .
Fuel and food is undoubtedly becoming more expensive as supply chains become clogged up and a fairly modest pension is becoming more modest.
You only have to look at the Roof to see we have become (sadly) a far more divided country since 2016 .

Now …back to the benefits to offset this …?

For me. Probably five years earnings getting my feet under the table before the rules were changed. After normal expenditure that is at least 150k. Maybe even 250k. Not including pension contributions lost.

Err you told is you left through choice and ate proud of it. Any lost income is your choice

I wouldn't have had to retire early (my choice) otherwise. I was always going to come here. Brexit brought it forward.
