Astonishingly despite being told repeatedly by people who export to NIreland and having negotiated signed and told us all to celebrate the “fantastic” deal with the EU , leading Brexiters are now “surprised”by the difficulties in trading between GB and NI .

In related news - having been told by The U.K. Border agency for 4 years that Brexit would lead to an increase in illegal immigration due to the staffing levels required to deal with Brexit bureaucracy , iiiegal immigration has increased by 40% in the first 6 months of 2021

Further “surprises” for Brexiters is the number of hospitality businesses unable to open due to a shortage of European workers in the sector . No one could foresee this apparently 😂

And finally today food prices are set to rise steeply as warned by supermarket CEOs for years as shortages in road hauliers are set to cause shortages . Funny that as Brexit politicians promised food proves would fall .

Not sure whether to laugh or cry

Couple of questions....

which ‘leading Brexiters’ are surprised by the difficulties in trading between GB and NI?

how do you know how many illegal immigrants are in the country and increased by 40%?

which hospitality businesses are unable to open because of a shortage of Europeans in the sector?

Merely posting what anyone with any interest in the subject can find out by keeping an eye on any meaningful news outlet.

Oh ok.

can’t find them, but I’m not as cleverer as you, can you answer them for me please?

You may be surprised to learn I’m not your personal research gopher .
Maybe you could point me to the tangible benefits after 6 months of Brexit as promised by leavers ?

We’re doing ok. It will take time, but what ever the outcome, it will be through self determination.

There are no leavers in the current government, they are either pro EU or have been bought off.

Which is why we are so f'cked up.

mmm Gove for one was chair of Leave.eu .
Johnson probably wasn’t pro leave but pretended to adopt a stance he knew would hurt the country as it would get him into No. 10

That’s why we are fucked up

Gove was and is a lying bastard, as sadly is Johnson. Rees Mogg, Baker and the rest have been bought off, one way or another.

They are all lying cunts and you voted for them.
You didn't have to give your vote.
Especially in a safe Tory seat.
But you did.

I did. I have admitted that I was wrong.

Get over it.

Are you going to be another one on here who blames me personally for the whole shitshow? If you check, you will find that a few others voted for them too.

Well if you keep going on about how shit they are, then yes.
Sometimes Sixth, I really don't understand you at all.

I'm trying to but really, I voted for a party and a prime minister who promised 'to get Brexit done'. He/they lied, not me, I was simply taken in, not totally onboard admittedly, I would have voted UKIP or similar but that was not an option.

I expected that it would be a bit of 'a fudge' but the deceit was actually off the scale. At least I tell the truth.

If only there was a way to know Boris Johnson would lie, like some kind of job history or maybe something in his personal life that could have pointed to him being a liar.

No wonder so many people were "taken in" as him lying came completely out of the blue.

I know...

But many people were taken in, I have explained my thoughts at the time, many times in fact, but I still have not received any kind of an answer when I ask what the alternative was at the time.

Feel free to make a suggestion.

The reason Boris and his cronies won the election with a much increased majority is that the people who voted for them liked/trusted the alternative parties even less. Many held their nose and voted on that basis.

That is true but it doesn't make his/their lies any more correct does it?
