To be fair to Maddison. It was a complete fuckup, but the playing of ndidi and soumare meant he played way deeper than he should've and should never have been anywhere near making a backpass towards the goalie. He needs to be in the attacking third not the middle third. but our genius two coaches played too defensive.
 
We effectively started with a keeper 5 defenders, 2 D.Ms, 1 winger? 1 36yr old striker, and 1 A.M. ffs , for a 6 pointer. Soumare, waste of space, same for desperate Dan, Ndidi just fouls constantly, Barnes couldn't tackle a rice pudding, Vardy looking forward to spending his dosh. If it wasnt for Faes and Iverson it could have been over by half time,. Man C next week they could declare at half, and we still wouldn't get a shot on target

Said to my mate at half time, if you were new to football you’d have thought both were kicking into the same goal so high were the % our passes that were backwards .
First thing new manager should do is fine anyone a grand for any pass back that isn’t strictly necessary
